In My Mailbox #52: Warning! I’m crazy. And it’s long.
This post has been sorted into "Meme" • 8 Comments

In My Mailbox is hosted by The Story Siren.

I’m sorry guys that my video is looooooong, but I want to entertain you – although really it’s me being myself on a sugar high after two cornetto ice-creams – and I thought if I leave the funny bits in you won’t get bored.

But please watch my video! I didn’t go through all that effort for nothing ;)

Books I got this week:
Every You, Every Me by David Levithan [bought & then signed]
Little Sister by Aimee Said [swapped - thanks In The Good Books!]
The Weight of Water by Sarah Crossan [for review - thanks Bloomsbury!]
Fear by Michael Grant [for review - thanks Jen @ Hardie Grant Egmont!] – Mini review here.
The Hunger Pains by The Harvard Lampoon [bought]
Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder [bought] - See my review here.
Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare [bought]
The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan [bought]
The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan [bought]

Not mentioned in this video:
• Won Paranormalcy Supernaturally by Kiersten White from a Summer of Supernatural (HarperCollins) Facebook page comepetition. I already had hardbacks sadly so these will do me no good at all.

What did you get in your mailbox?

Ahhh! I’m in Melboune today and it was SOOO hot today. ARGH. You can literally only survive inside the house..and sometimes the air con can’t even cope with that! D:

ANYHOO. Sooo jealous about your books! Same you missed out on that photo though…you would think the dude would know how to take a photo…o_O

You made me whip out my Collector’s Editio of Clockwork Prince and I ALSO have no idea what ‘chaer fach’ or whatever it is means. :P Did you end up looking it up?

Means something like ‘small sister’, ‘sister small’, or what seems to fit and I’m guessing what it should be, ‘dear sister’.

Hope you enjoyed your day here in Melb.

  • Eee! That was and awesome IMM Braiden, blogger extraordinaire. I feel hyper after reading it! I need to read the Gone series and I have to get myself a finished copy of Touch of Power. How evil is Big W?!?! I swear, every time I step foot in there I either leave with a pile of books or a nervous wreck cos I couldn’t afford that pile of books. Lol.

Love, love, loooove Rick Riordan’s books. I adore the Kane Chronicles but Percy will always have my heart. And how great was Son of Neptune?!?! Cannot wait for Mark of Athena–think the wait will kill me. Oh and I actually think the new series may be BETTER than the first one. Just seems like it will be….

It’s not as hot here in Sydeny as it is there in Melb but I’m definitely wishing we had snow, lol.
