February was a pretty great month in terms of reading. I read two novellas and 11 novels – give or take considering I finished a couple I had begun either last month or last year – which put me 7-8 books ahead of my Goodreads Reading Challenge.

Let’s see with uni beginning today that I can uphold my reading challenge and stay ahead this month in March.

Oh. Em. Gee. It’s March already?

Perks of Being a Wallflower is one of those novels and films that I can relate to and can connect to. I’d call myself a wallflower.

For as the above quote goes, it relates to me because I haven’t been with someone. Yet. I’m constantly pushed by my mother and my sisters to do things that isn’t me, like go on dating sites, go out partying, clubbing, and the likes. It just isn’t me. I want to let desire and destiny take its course and see where it takes me. Of course, I want to be with someone because I feel like I’m missing out and just letting my teenage year slip by. Of course, I have some crushes. And I’ve come to terms with the reality that I may not be the best for them, considering what I like to do and how I like to spend my time. If there is someone, someone who is interested me and likes me, I want them to know who I am and what I like to do, not create a facade to be someone that I’m not.

I want them to like me for me.

Be you and only you. Because in time there will be someone who will like, whatever it is that you do, whoever you are, about you.
